Tweet Test Drive: Ferrari launches in Europe on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on 30th March, new publisher Bigben Interactive has announced. No gameplay details have been revealed yet, and it's not known who is developing. However, speculation points to this being Need For Speed: Shift developer Slightly Mad Studios' long-rumoured Ferrari game. Blimey! Games, which Slightly Mad acquired back in 2009, had a licensed Ferrari title in the works, which was then reportedly held up by legal wranglings. When quizzed on the No Grip forum as to the game's status back in August, Slightly Mad's head of development Ian Bell replied, "On the Ferrari game, expect some interesting news very soon." We've asked the UK-based studio to confirm or deny and will update when we hear back. The last entry in the Test Drive series, Test Drive: Unlimited 2, was published by Atari back in February. It's not clear whether Atari will be publishing Test Drive: Ferrari outside of Europe. * Related games * * Packshot for Test Drive Unlimited 2 on Xbox 360 Test Drive Unlimited 2 Xbox 360 Follow * Packshot for Test Drive Unlimited 2 on PlayStation 3 Test Drive Unlimited 2 PlayStation 3 Follow * Packshot for Test Drive Unlimited 2 on PC Test Drive Unlimited 2 PC Follow * Like us! Has the Microsoft Ferrari licence finally run out? * [IMG] +2 [IMG] * [IMG] Daddy-Doom-Bar #3 12h ago Comment below viewing threshold Show It's a TD title, and after the last pile of shite that was TDU2 - count me out. They'll get no money out of me till they finish TDU2. * [IMG] +6 [IMG] * [IMG] DozyKipper #4 12h ago Comment below viewing threshold Show I loved TDU2 but that was Eden Games. Are they still with us? * [IMG] -2 [IMG] * [IMG] crooky369 #5 12h ago Comment below viewing threshold Show They should have retired the Test Drive franchise IMO after the TDU2 fiasco. Who's really going to buy it at launch after what happened before. * [IMG] +4 [IMG] * [IMG] Machetazo #6 11h ago Comment below viewing threshold Show Bigben Interactive will release the title in most major European countries besides the United Kingdom on March 30, 2012. It will be available on PS3*/Xbox360*/PC. source Now, why might that be? * [IMG] 0 [IMG] * [IMG] redbarony #7 11h ago Comment below viewing threshold Show TDU was ok. TD2 was shit. And now it has degenerated in to Outrun. At least they are predictable. They must be very proud. Wheres the promised bike DLC for example? No more TD for me thanks. Plus launching so close to Mass Effect 3? Great idea... * [IMG] +1 [IMG] Reply: user ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ [ Reply ] Cancel Comment successfully posted!
